the code of conduct is pretty clear-cut here. hope fractal visions will be back with good conduct after the 3 months is up.
based on the proposal, we at cmu blockchain believe there was reasonable evidence to suggest that doxxing occurred.
we believe the code of coduct & rules of enforcement provide clear guidance here.
doxxing is harmful and a strict violation of the code of conduct, but the foundation has not provided any documentation or evidence in this case, so it is tough to vote on this. choosing to abstain
read our rational at: https://gov.optimism.io/t/seed-latam-delegate-communication-thread/2950/
the rules are clear on this one, it's important that we enforce the code of conduct as described.
we all should abide by the delegate code of conduct
based on the information provided, it is pretty clear that fractal vision has violated the coc and should face temporary suspension.
we choose to abstain from voting on fractal visions' delegate suspension proposal. although the delegate code of conduct classifies intentional doxxing as a severe offense and the optimism team received six files supporting the claim, fractal visions has not directly denied doxxing, only stating that they collected public information. without access to the evidence, it is impossible to verify the extent of the doxxing. in the absence of evidence beyond the unknown reporter's word and the accused's forum replies, we don't feel it's appropriate to vote for or against suspension. moving forward, we support forming a trusted dao subcommittee for impartial verification and evidence protection, promoting a transparent and trustworthy process. by abstaining, we encourage the community to reevaluate the current process and consider implementing a more reliable and transparent system for delegate suspension proposals.
