We have reviewed and support this upgrade as it makes Optimism more accessible and easier to integrate. We will be sharing more thoughts in the delegate thread on the forum.
The risk is represented as being very low to implement this, and would lower gas costs on L1 for less active chains. Given the recent shuttering of PGN, lowering costs for nascent or hyper specialized OP stack chains presents a competitive advantage and is a positive development.

looking forward to this one
Trustworthy team and confirmed with OP Labs. The report on the upgrade, including risks and mitigation factors, seem reasonable and thorough.
Looking forward to this upgrade --------- Voting with partially delegated votes!
The presented information and worst-case scenarios explained in the proposal indicate that the implementation is ready for upgrade.

The 97% reduction on low throughput chains, as well as the security review from OP labs, makes me confident that this upgrade is worth voting for.
And thus the lord said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you Span Batches of great joy, which shall be for mainnet and all other OP chains.
We support this proposal it for its enhancement of cost efficiency across the Optimism network and its ecosystem. The integration of Span Batches, designed to bundle consecutive L2 blocks into a singular batch, is poised to notably decrease L1 costs. This upgrade brings significant benefits to both active and less active chains. Additionally, it plays a vital role in facilitating the development and launch of new L2 solutions, thereby supporting the continuous advancement and strengthening of the OP Stack ecosystem.
let's upgrade this network
